Elegant Quilled Rakhi Designs – Handmade with Love Using Quilling Art
Rakhi is not just a thread; it is a symbol of love, care, and the unbreakable bond between siblings. While market shelves are filled with ready-made rakhis, there’s a special charm in making one by hand. This year, I decided to blend tradition with creativity by making quilled rakhi designs using the delicate and artistic technique of quilling art.
Why Quilled Rakhi?
I always love quilling, the art is very therapeutic.I have made many home deocr items using quilling. Quilling art, with its elegant paper coils and intricate designs, adds a unique handmade charm to rakhis. The bright colors, floral patterns, and delicate detailing make them look both festive and artistic. The lightweight nature of quilled designs also ensures the rakhi is comfortable to wear, while the layered shapes give them a rich, decorative appeal. So though of making some quilled rakhis to celebrate Raksha Bandhan this time.
Here are the Rakhis I made:

A colorful trio of handmade quilled rakhis – blending tradition with the beauty of paper quilling art.

Handmade elegancy
Each of these quilled rakhis is unique, carrying a piece of my creativity and affection. The combination of colors, patterns, and ribbons is chosen carefully to reflect both beauty and comfort. Unlike store-bought rakhis, these handmade creations hold emotional value and can be cherished long after Raksha Bandhan is over.
This Raksha Bandhan, let’s celebrate the bond with something truly special – a rakhi that’s as unique as the love it represents.
Love, Laugh and Live the life to the fullest,
