I completed painting the acrylic painting on canvas, about which I had shared in the work in progress post last week. Rather than, I painted, I should say my teacher painted this. This is a large flower painting.

Acrylic painting on canvas is a versatile and vibrant medium that allows artists to express their creativity with ease. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a beginner looking to explore the world of painting, acrylics offer a fantastic opportunity to create stunning artworks. I have been painting with acrylic medium from 3-4 years, and I love it. Slowly I am learning the techniques and skills. A year back I had painted similar flower painting, and few more floral painting I had painted in my learning process. I thought I should go for Rose painting this time, so chose this image. But it was really difficult for me. I could only paint the background and base color applying. I could not gain the confidence. Confidence is result of practice. I need to practise more.

I was bit upset, because I could not paint properly.I know I can’t compare myself with my teacher.Learning acrylic painting on canvas is not a destination but a continuous, evolving journey for me. I have evolved, and enjoying my journey.
