My Art Journals Collection

Almost all of us,  some or the other time use journals or write journals. I used to write dairy during my childhood too. I used to have two journals, one was secret journal:) . Now too, I write journals, and use bullet journals to schedule my works and priorities. With this hobby, I have found another way of expressing myself, that’s through arts. From past few years I am maintaining some art journals. Though I don’t work on art journals everyday, but whenever I work on my art journals, it gives me immense pleasure. I am addicted to seeing art journals made by others on internet.

Thought of sharing some of my art journals with my readers.

My collection of art journals

Let me start with my first art journal. This is not an art journals exactly, but I used to scribble designs on this dairy.

My old journals

One is of the year 2001 and another is of the year 2011. It has really become ancient now.

The below one has beautiful front page design. I have used this extensively. I have all my craft tutorials notes written in this one. I can’t afford to loose this 🙂

When I learnt distress ink technique , I made another art journal. The below one has the pages designed using distress ink techniques :

Still I am using this.

This year too I am planning to make some art journals. The first one I got it bound from a book binder. It includes all the kinds of the papers , like jute, cardstocks of different GSM, water color papers, fabric papers and handmade papers. I have designed some of the pages and the front page of this art journal.

The front page design has some meaning, which I will share, when I do flip through of this journal.

I bought some readymade journals too.

The below one is set of three journals, small ones. One has plain papers, and one dotted papers and the third one is made up of grid papers.

The next one too has beautiful cover with map design. I am planning to use this as travel journal.

This year I bought a bullet journal too. This one is not designed yet, but this is very useful for me.
