Some unique Kumkuma bharanis in my collection

Kumkuma bharani

I have a collection of Kumkuma bharani. I have been collecting these from last ten years. I have collected Kumkuma bharanis in different shapes, sizes and made using different crafts. Few months ago I added some more to the collection. These are made of brass and gold plated. Two more of the similar kind I have added now.

With Vishnu as Shesha shayana

This one has idol of Vishnu is sleeping position (Shesha Shayana). The sides of the kumkuma bharani has beautiful carvings with kemp stones studded on it. If the hook is opened,  then inside the box we can see one more cover.

The inside lid opened , has another small box where kumkuma can be stored.

The below one also very unique kumkuma bharani. This one is also made of brass and gold plated.

Unique design of Kumkuma bharani

This has the the box to store kumkuma at the front and a temple like design behind that. The doors of the temple can be opened.

When the doors of the temple are opened, we can see the idol of Vishnu and Lakshmi together.

The sides of the Kumkuma bharani are etched with beautiful carvings. You can also see the elephant designs there. The front box lid can be opened and this is for storing Kumkuma in it.
