Water colour Mandala With Symbols of Shiva
Mandalas which were used for religious purposes in ancient times, is now a very popular art form. There are many mandala coloring books available in the market. It is proved that, drawing mandala relaxes mind and even the healers use mandala drawing as healing practice.
I had learnt drawing Mandala two years ago. Artists are coming up with different forms of mandalas . It is really addiction to learn new art. I have also made a dot mandala recently. This time learnt Mandala with water color.
This is the mandala I have drawn using water color.

Drawing mandala is so soothing, it is like meditation, I can say color meditation. Inspired from this mandala, I have drawn another mandala. This was drawn yesterday on the occasion of Mahashivaratri , an Hindu festival to worship Lord Shiva.

In the second one I tried using water color pencils. The effect is little different. Next time will try drawing very big mandala.
