Work In Progress on Wednesday – Saree design with lace

This week to I am continuing the cross stitch on canvas, which I had shared last week. Many sarees are pending with embroidery designs traced on it. Also working on decoupage and Kerala Mural again. Not have anything to share as WIP, because whatever works I have taken up are not competed.

Saree design with lace

I have completed  designing two sarees. About these saree designs , I have already shared in WIP posts.Here are the designed sarees.

This one with a broad lace. I have attached the broad lace to a artificial raw silk. Though it is not cut work , gives cut work embroidery look:

These look like cut work sarees. Cut work takes lot of time. So this is alternate for cut-works, though they don’t look same as cut work saree, but have the similar look.
