Works In Progress On Wednesday- Embroidery sample book

I am making an embroidery sample book to keep all the embroidery samples I make and share in design of the week post. I have bought some fabrics from Sri Rampura cotton market of Bengaluru. I have to cut and stitch the samples I have embroidered on it. I want to decorate the edges with the laces I have.

I have completed the tatting work on a dress, this week. Sharing that too.

Tatting neck design pattern

When it comes to tatting I love using tatted motifs in embroidery or design. Last week too , I had shared how I have used tatting and zardozi together. In the above neck design too I have used simple tatted motifs and split ring technique to decorate. Some times simple designs too give elegant look, isn’t it ? It depends the color combination and the pattern used.
