Design of the week- Lazy daisy stitch embroidery design

Lazy Daisy stitch:

This is normally used for embroidering petals , flowers and leaves. Lazy daisy is beginner stitch in embroidery. This is also known as detached chain stitch.

This week sharing embroidery design with lazy daisy stitch.

Design

This design I have taken from an embroidery book and added some variation to it.

I have used four strands of silk thread, blue and light green. And fixed small Kundans in the centre of the flower.

This design can be used as border on a saree, duppatta or on the front of a kurti. If it is used as border then, the small flowers can be used as motifs. I am working on a saree with lazy daisy stitch. Will share the design once completed.
