Front page design of Art Journal- Design of the week

This is front page design of my art journal. I have shared about my collection of art journals. This is one of that. I have got it bound from a book binder, it contains different kinds of papers, as per my need. I have already designed some of the inside pages. I will take you through the art journal, once it is completed. In this post sharing the front page design.

Here is the front page design:

The front page design

Here I have used stenciling , stamping and decoupage techniques. The embellishment in the shape of garden gate is used in the front. And the gate is decorated with the lace to give creeper effects.

The gate on the front page is tied with a small chain. The gate can be opened.

This symbolises this is an entrance to the garden of expressions using arts and crafts.

If the gate is completely opened , a type writer image can be seen. Here I have used decoupage. And some printed decoupage papers are used here.

A type writer and butterflies

These I have used to depict, this garden , contains my feelings expressed in the form of words , colors and butterflies. This is a beautiful garden of arts and words.

Back side of the art journal

The above image is of the back side of the art journal. Here to I have continued the theme of garden, using decoupage. The stamps used are words and it is combined with butterfly pictures.

I have tried to use complete garden theme here. Once the art journal is completed will share the video of flip through. The front page design video is shared on my you tube channel too.
