Peacock design – wood work
I have already shared many peacock designs. Some on sarees which I have printed using screen printing techniques, and some sculpted in very ancient temples.
Recently when visited a craft exhibition I could capture. This is wood work from Chittoor Andra Pradesh.

I have a similar large size terracotta peacock planter that I purchased from a handicraft exhibition nearby. I thought I would paint it myself because I got bored seeing the same green orange and yellow shades they paint over black background but then that's why that's an ethnic art. I haven't got the time, energy and enthusiasm to paint for past four years now:(
