Work In Progress On Wednesday- Machine Embroidery On saree

Though I love hand embroidery, because of time constraints, I end up designing something with machine embroidery. This week also taken up two sarees to design with machine embroidery.

Here are the sarees:

The design traced on saree

Both the sarees I have bought from famous cotton market of Bangalore, SriRampura. I want to embellish both the sarees with sequence or kundans, as I have plenty Kundans in my stash.   🙂

Meanwhile, the saree designing started few weeks ago is completed. Here also I have chosen machine embroidery. The saree is simple silk cotton in plain. I had some motifs in Banaras Silk. So I have used those motifs along the border of the saree.

The motif is in paisley design and has flower vine design inside.

Here and there, some mistakes can be found in the embroidery, I liked the over all outcome.I have a Banaras silk fabric in similar design. Planning to design a blouse for this saree, with the Banaras fabric.
