Work In Progress On Wednesday – Peacock embroidey on saree

I am very fond of peacock embroidery designs. I have used peacock embroidery in many dress designs and also in saree designs.

Peacock embroidery is a traditional form of decorative stitching that incorporates the image of peacocks into fabric. The peacock, with its vibrant colors and graceful form, has long been a symbol of beauty and elegance in many cultures, including in India, where it is often associated with royalty and prosperity.

Here again I am trying this on one more saree:

Here I am using chain stich and detached chain stitch. The threads used are silk threads and using some golden color sequins. This will take lot of time, as I am working on some tatting projects too. Anyways, everything I will share here after completion.
