Work In Progress on Wednesday- Quilt Making

Two weeks I could not post about Work in Progress posts, because of exam season busy schedule I could not start any arts and crafts work.  Last post on WIP was sospesso work on bottle, which I will be finishing next week. This week, planning to make a quilt. 

I have made some quilts, one was Quilt with Strawberry prints . Quilts are perfect gifts for the newborns. For making quilts for little ones , we can use applique work and painting on those.  Among all the quilts I made, I love the one with Dora painting on that. This quilt I had made for my son and the memories of making the quilt are always close to my heart,which I shared in the post “The story of making of Dora quilt “,

After 2-3 years, I’m making this quilt. I had a dress , with Phulkari embroidery on it.

I don’t want to discard this piece. Thinking of attaching this as applique, on the cotton cloth I bought from , Shrirampura Cotton market, the market where cloths are sold depending on the weight of the cloth.

Fabric painting

This has the thread work allover. So I painted on the same design. Feel instead of different color , I should have single color with green on leaves.What do you opine?
