Work In Progress On Wednesday – Saree blouse design with tatting
This week starting another saree blouse design, with tatted lace. From past twenty days I was busy with learning acrylic painting in a workshop conducted. I have shared the acrylic paintings I made- one is floral acrylic painting and another one is peacock acrylic painting. Now again , I have started threadwork. I was missing threadworks. In previous post I have shared the tatting saree kucchu, I finished making. This week, starting one more tatting work. This is for a saree blouse design.
The saree and its blouse
The saree is satin silk, and I have attached, the parsi gara look like , embroidered lace. I want to design the blouse with tatting lace. I have chosen Anchor tkt 20 threads, which are matching to the embroidery on the border. I have decided the tatting pattern too. It might take some time , as the lace pattern I have selected is little broad in size.
I have also started , one more saree blouse design, with kutchwork. I will be sharing the completed work soon.
