Kalamkari is always my favourite to design a saree. The first saree I had designed is with patchwork of Kalamkari motifs. And nowadays beautiful Kalamkari borders are available. I had designed some sarees with Kalamkari border. In the following posts I have shared about those sarees:
Now planning to design a saree with Kalamkari block printed cloth and silk cotton cloth. I will design this with half and half style. Here are the cloths I have chosen:

Most of the traditional paintings are used in designing in fashion industry. Madhubani is also one of those. Few weeks back, I had shared about the designing of saree with Madhubani prints, in WIP posts. That saree is here, please let me know how is it?

On the pallu I have attached the bordres in two lines
According to me, choosing lemon green colored Chanderi silk cotton has done justice to the border. Planning for a blouse in dark green color with same border patch. What do you opine?

The design looks pretty. I guess the choice of colors is great, just perfect for the base color of the saree you had!
