Work In Progress On Wednesday- Different embroidery on sarees.

Due to exam season, I am not able to concentrate on my craft works. All my students have finished their exams now. Phew! I can focus on my crafts projects and attend many workshops in arts and crafts. Meanwhile, I am sharing my teaching experiences in my education blog, Online tutorials, too.

Coming to works in progress, I am going in tortoise speed. I had shared about the Kamal Kadai work on a saree two weeks ago. I could finish only few motifs.Each Kamal work takes lot of time. Here is its progress:

Though I am using same motifs along the border, for each motif, I am changing the color of the flower.

For each motif using different color.

Also I had shared about Kutchwork on an ilakal saree. It has two types of motifs, along the border. I have taken up embroidering the small motifs on the saree.

Apart from this motifs, it has big Kutchwork motifs too. Will embroider big motifs after finishing embroidering the small motifs.

Though these works are progressing very slowly, I have hopes to complete these within a month. 🙂 Few machine embroidery works are also progressing. Will share in next WIP post.
